Visionnaires in Easton is more than a shop for fashionable eyeglass frames – it’s a one-stop approach to eye exams and eye disorders. Founded by Dr. Steven Demko, who also operates Professional Eye Associates in Mount Pocono, Visionnaires provides its patients with one of the most comprehensive vision and ocular health exams in Northampton, Monroe and Lehigh Counties.

Owner Elan Latham offers customary cuts, styling, perms, straightening and highlights but urges customers to try some of the many products that will make hair outstanding. “We offer spa treatments to make your hair vibrant and alive,” she said.  “We promote healthy hair through the use of reduced chemical products.”

“We believe that a healthy head of hair begins with a healthy scalp. Therefore, we have pioneered the natural hair and skin care concept in the beauty industry, and enhance our services with products made from the freshest ingredients. Through using natural, and sometimes organic, ingredients, we enhance hair by nourishing it instead of manipulating it with harmful chemicals,” Latham added.

While at Eco Care, you will also find some edible goodies to give your immune system a boost. Flavored green tea extracts promote healthy metabolism and healthy skin. It’s been used as a therapeutic remedy for centuries and comes in vanilla, pineapple, peach and raspberry.

The name may have changed but the ice cream is still fabulous and premise made. The Purple Cow Creamery on Bank Street in Easton is now the Bank Street Creamery but rest assured, you’ll still find the same delicious homemade ice cream savored by locals for years. All 48 flavors are available as Bank Street Creamery gears up for the summer… and, the sundae namesake, Purple Cow, still remains.

Lynn Flanagan, co-owner of the Creamery said, “We’re delighted to be in this spot for fifteen years.  Exciting changes are coming to Easton and we’re glad to be part of it.” Along with the Purple Cow sundae, Bank Street Creamery offers a wide variety of gourmet ice creams including, Death by Peanut Butter, Pistachio, Toasted Coconut, Snickers, Banana Nilla® Wafer, Black Forest Cake, Jazzed Up Java, and Jamaican Me Nuts.
