After working in the Philadelphia market since 2002, the Motsenigoses started Bella Casa Painting and Remodeling in the Lehigh Valley in 2005.  In May 2010—to showcase their work and establish a place for clients to view selections for their projects—the Motsenigoses expanded their business by opening the Bella Casa Kitchen and Bath showroom in Allentown.

Bella Casa offers complete home remodeling services including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, home offices and built-ins.  Clients who work with Bella Casa can expect every aspect of their project to be covered from design, materials and installation to paint and wallpaper.  Owners Faye and Spiros Motsenigos work with all budgets and lifestyles including green products for eco-inspired customers.  “From cork floors to bamboo cabinets and recycled glass countertops, we have something for everyone,” says Faye.

The mission at Bella Casa Kitchen and Bath is to leave clients with a kitchen they enjoy to cook and spend time in with their family, or a bathroom they want to retreat to at the end of a long day.  After all, everyone wants a “bella casa.”

Prolific Landscape
6574 Sullivan Trail, Wind Gap, PA 18091  |  610-759-7491  |  prolificlandscape.com

Mowing lawns at age 11, Jay Kaniper always knew he wanted to get into landscaping one day.  That day came in 2003 when he started Prolific Landscape.

Many times customers call Prolific Landscape wanting to recreate a look they’ve seen elsewhere.  Kaniper meets with clients to merge their ideas with the reality of their house style, location and budget.  From there, he moves their ideas into solid workable designs.  Kaniper, a self-proclaimed perfectionist, will do whatever it takes to get the job done right.  This work ethic is instilled in his crews as well, who are hard-working, friendly and knowledgeable, and take great pride in their work. “My primary responsibility…is to make sure that what [the client] wants today they’ll still love tomorrow and the next season,” he explains.  Prolific’s products and services include landscaping, landscape maintenance, hardscapes, shade structures and waterscapes.

Kaniper likes to work with projects his children can be part of.  Recently, they donated the stock and labor for Arbor Day projects at two local school districts.  Later this season they will be donating the labor to help build a decorative pond at one of the local elementary schools.  “I like being able to give back with something I enjoy doing and setting an example for my children,” said Kaniper.

Antone’s Tile & Stone
1801 S. 12th St., Allentown, PA 18103  |  610-798-9218

“We’ve brought the big city showroom to the Valley,” co-owner Mark Albright says of the brand-new, fully remodeled 5,000 square-foot showroom at Antone’s Tile and Stone in Allentown.    The new space showcases the company’s large selection of products including high and low-end hard surfaces. Adds Albright, “Since our new showroom has opened, designers no longer need to hop on the bus to Manhattan with their clients.” Due to an exclusive agreement with five major importers, Antone’s has tile, glass and metal products—part of the “Elegance Collection”—that no one else in the Lehigh Valley offers.

Partners Mark Albright and Tony Costantino have a combined 55 years of experience in the marble, tile and granite industry. Tony started the business in Allentown in 1979 and Mark, with his 25 years of experience, joined Antone’s four years ago.

With a full staff of in-house framers, plumbers and electricians (no subcontractors) Antone’s Tile & Stone offers the complete remodeling package, starting with free consultations and estimates to design and installation. The business focuses on complete kitchen and bath remodeling for residences but does commercial work, also.

Gail Gray Home Furnishings and Design
The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley  |  2960 Center Valley Parkway #712
Center Valley, PA 18034  |  484-223-3301  |  gailgrayhome.com

“It is the prettiest store I have ever been in.”

Gail Gray Dunn, owner of Gail Gray Home Furnishings and Design, has heard this from customers many times and each time, it makes her day. That’s because, as a small, independent retailer, Gail Gray Home Furnishings and Design does not carry mass-produced merchandise. The store is filled with beautiful, unique home furnishings, accessories, artwork and mirrors-many of which are one of a kind.  Gail Gray also has an interior design service to help clients achieve the look they want for their homes and offices, along with the feel and comfort they need.

The shop has recently incorporated a new streamlined approach to purchase affordable window treatments.  Numerous styles and thousands of fabrics are available and many sample panels are on display, which makes it easy for customers to visualize the end result.

On October 6, Gail Gray Home Furnishings and Design is hosting the VIP party for BlackOut V, to benefit the AIDS Activities Offices of Lehigh Valley Hospital and on November 10, it will once again host its annual Holiday Open House, from which a portion of sales is always donated to a local charity.

After more than 11 years in business Gail Gray Dunn “loves her customers” and focuses on making them happy during the design process and thrilled with the results.
