Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,

A time for new beginnings, it seems only fitting that I start my role as Editor with the Spring issue.  I have written for Lehigh Valley Marketplace since 2009 and now have the privilege of working alongside the magazine’s professional staff and talented group of writers. Thanks to all of you for your warm welcome, responsiveness and patience. I would be remiss if I didn’t also thank my predecessor, Christine Krahling, for her guidance to me as a writer and again for her generous assistance during our transition. I wish Christine and her family the best in their new venture.

As the days grow longer and the temperatures creep higher, I am eager to spend more time outdoors. With my driver re-gripped and a new set of irons in my bag, I am confident this will be the year I make the giant leap from beginner to mediocre golfer. Of course I thought that last year too! Regardless of my game, I’m looking forward to the camaraderie of my golf league and remain optimistic for now. In addition to golf, the Valley certainly has plenty to offer this time of year. Whether you’re looking for a summer camp for your children, tips for preparing your home to go on the market or a great place to have dinner, I trust you will find the articles in this issue valuable and informative.

Also in the spirit of new beginnings, I recently took my first Hot Yoga class. Strength and flexibility weren’t a problem for me, but balance sure was. Does yoga mimic life? Perhaps. I hope Lehigh Valley Marketplace continues to serve as a resource for you to keep your life – work, family, home and play – in balance.

Now that you know a little about me, I’d like to hear from you. Let me know what you liked most about this issue and what you’d like to see more of in the future.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
